Campbell McIntosh

Head Sports Scientist

Campbell has played sport from a young age which lead him to being attracted to a profession in the health and sport industry.

Campbell graduated in 2015 from Central Queensland University with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and again in 2018 from Edith Cowan University with a Masters of Exercise Science, majoring in Strength and Conditioning. He is also a Member of the Australian Strength and Conditioning Professional Coaching Scheme and holds an ASCA Level 2 Strength and Conditioning Coach accreditation.

He has been involved in the Fitness industry since 2003 where he began working as a Fitness and Gym Floor Instructor at a local gym.

Throughout his career, Campbell has worked with several Local, State, National and Olympic level athletes.  He has also worked with Queensland Reds Rugby 7’s program in 2018 as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the National Youth Girls 7’s Red, White and Grey teams, Campbell also worked with an International Invitational Rugby 7’s Team, Tribe 7’s where he worked within the Men’s and Women’s programs to help them win a number of national and international tournaments. He has also consulted with South West Queensland and Sunshine Coast Touch Associations to provide strength and conditioning programs to their youth programs.

Campbell’s goal while working with Vision Sport Science is to help improve athletic performance with athletes and sporting teams as well as providing education around injury prevention and recovery to ensure that every athlete is properly prepared for their sport.
