Grafton Clinic Manager & Exercise Physiologist
Mat has been working as an AEP since completing his Post Graduate Diploma of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2010, but has been heavily involved with sport and exercise from a very young age. This experience with regular exercise has provided Mat with the insight and passion to be able to provide exercise prescription to a wide range of individuals. The profound effect exercise can have on so many pathologies and conditions is something Mat finds incredibly rewarding about working as an AEP.
Mat has a lot of experience working with both musculoskeletal cases and in chronic disease management, but enjoys the challenge of variety in the clients he treats. Mat has also undertaken further training and is qualified to run diabetic management programs (HEAL and Beat It), out-patient pulmonary rehabilitation programs and is a qualified Pilates instructor.
Mat is currently servicing the Clarence Valley in NSW.
When not working as an AEP, Mat is an avid fisherman and competes in a number of tournaments around Australia each year. He also enjoys kayaking, camping, soccer, oztag, touch football, training in the gym and adventuring with his wife and kids.
