Rachel obtained her Diploma in Professional Pilates Instruction from Pilates International Training Centre in February 2021. Having taught group fitness Pilates for 5 years prior, Rachel wanted to gain a deeper understanding of how the body’s muscular system interacts during movement, leading her to commence the diploma study.
With the attitude that quality over quantity is the key to progress, she strives to educate her clients about how specific exercises translate into their everyday lives from a functional perspective, whether it be in performing simple everyday tasks or increasing their strength and endurance in their chosen sport or other fitness pursuits.
Rachel enjoys working with a broad range of clients from rehabilitative movement to people wishing to challenge strength and full body integration. She also feels strongly about educating women of all ages about the importance of the body’s healing process post pregnancy.
